Polaroid Strip

A playful strip of overlapping polaroid frames. Each photo has a seeded tilt for a hand-placed look, with subtle pins and captions. Hovering makes a card rise, straighten, and cast a deeper shadow for a tactile feel.

Behavior

• Overlapping stack — photos overlap with a configurable negative margin (overlap).
• Seeded layout jitter — each card has a unique rotation and offset, stable across renders.
• Hover lift — card rises, straightens, and scales slightly, with a stronger shadow.
• Z-index lift — hovered card always floats above neighbors.
• Optional links — if href is provided, the card becomes a clickable link.

Props

• items: { title: string; src: string; href?: string }[] — photos with captions (and optional link).
• overlap?: number — negative margin controlling how much cards stack (default -106).
• height?: number — fixed card height in px (default 380).
